My favourite photos

This was taken at Macau.
I was walking back to my hotel (Hotel Taipa)at around 630pm.
when i looked back, i saw this beautiful view in front of me.

Lotus flower, one of my best shot.

went to Macau for the lotus exhibition.
This was the lotus leaf, not yet fully open.
Looks like a heart, right?

A day when i hold him tightly

went to The Peak,Hong Kong on wednesday.
of course i went to the Madame Tussauds...guess what?
i thought i bypassed the age of hugging idols,but...

Initially, this is how i behave when i saw Andy Lau.

I was told to hug him, and put my head on his chest in order to hear his heartbeat.
so, i hugged him.
still decent, in this photo.

Then, getting bold, not only do i hugged him , i can't let him go!!!
Zoom in to my sweet smile!

Heaven shopping at shen zhen

went to shen zhen again on 13/5/09( wed).
Alone? yes, alone.
'Have to be careful hor?', you may say.

Don't worry, i will.
i have some simple rules that i always follow:

1)bring my own water
2)never talk to stranger, not even police ( heard so many cheating cases by policemen). Bottom line is, dont trust anyone while u are in shen zhen.
3)eat well-known brand 'Mcdonald' or 'KFC'...
food quality can never be wrong at these places.
4)keep all important documents/money in front of me, not behind.

i love to go travelling wearing jean/bottom with many pockets.
why?
i always put money here n there.
Example:left hand side big notes, right hand side pocket small change.
Thus i can buy things without opening my wallet in the public.

below are some things i bought. Jealous? You should, haha!

flower ring¥25=s$5
did i not tell u that i am addicted to flower?
anything related to flower is pretty for me.

5 books, all related to travel except for 1(see the one with rabbit on top?) which is a comic.
i dont mind invest my money on books, but the problem i have to face in july is :
how am i going to carry back all these heavy things?
given 20kg of allowance for my check-in luggage, and at the rate that i am buying ,i doubt i can keep to it.
anyone coming from singapore to hong kong in june/july

This is a special belt cum necklace, only RMB$25, last one, sorry.
Not selling. i love it!

pretty hor?
gave the blck one to my indian coleague.

Red is always not my colour, but surprisingly, this one makes me look so IN
RMB$39=s$8
'I want too!' shouted my indian colleague when she saw it.
maybe next time when i go shen zhen, i will buy one for her.
with both hk and china confirmed the second caes of swine flu, i have to think twice before going to shen zhen to shop.

piggy penci, case and my love forever:japanese-style handbag
each costs RMB$20 =s$4 only!

har? how many bags did i bought this year in hk?
5+1+1+1=8, i think?
How many do i have in singapore?
Eeeer, the weather is fine in hong kong today.

A day travelling in time

22/4/09(wed)
went to the hong kong railway museum near Tai Wo mtr.

look for Mcdonald when u are out of the shopping centre, then turn right and follow the road. it will bring u to a river & u will see this bridge.

This temple was constructed in 1892.

The inside of the train is very spacious.

wet market, a place where i love to go and feel the vibrant local lives.

she was podering over the lost of youth, while trying to earn her livelihood.

The fallen star.

Forget the past, look forward.

I can't stop wondering, how many people sat on this seat, while waiting for their love one to return?

Was this the end of the journey, or just the beinning of my life?

next to the Ladies treet at Mong Kok mtr, u can find this street selling fishes/pets.

twinkle twinkle little stars

Oh! is this an elf?

Good night, everyone.

Museums tour-with respect & fear

went to Dr Sun Yat-sen museum & Hong Kong museum of medical science yesterday.
Both museums are situated at mid-levels, central, quite easy to find. finally i got to see the well-known escalator.
I came to the museum at the right time, it was free on every Wednesday!
Save me hk$10!

I was never into history, i only managed to score A1 in my 'O'level because i memorised more than 20 essays! Guess i was lucky to spot the correct questions too!
This exhibition that i went to, show the lives and love stories of both Dr Sun and the wife. Though they only managed to spent only 10years together after marriage, but their love for each other was touching. Despite the unstable political situation, they stayed together with each other.

Not only do i admire their strong believe in love, i also like the structure of the buildings. Standing at the wooden staircase, i seem to went back to the 1920s, where i can hear the screaming of the children's voices in the building, and also the footstep of them running up and down.

I only went to this medical museum because i like to watch CSI. it came as a surprise to me when i saw that the building was also made of another Edwardian style.

I was enchanted by the flowers outside it too. though they may not be as beautiful as those in the flower show, but they have their own charm too.

Everything was ok inside, but when i came to the basement, i was not so sure. There, i found myself among the old equipments used during the 1906. learnt so much about plague and smallpox. I was alone walking under the basement, and i had no idea why, it was the only air-conditioned level among all. To make matter worse, there was this mortuary room which used to house corpses. I didn't stayed long cos i was scared.

Guess i was better outside, under the sun, taking photos for the flowers.
It makes me feel alive.
